MultiChannel Merchant magazine chose my copy as Best in the Country 5 times. Our customer base is 60+ and predominantly female. I appeal to them with problem-solution headlines and quick-read copy that stresses the best selling features.

Print advertising examples

I came up with the concepts for these ads. Then I supervised the photoshoot for the ad on the left, picked the stock photography for the ad on the right and had the ad in the middle translated into German. When buying space, I reduced our overall advertising costs by more than 40%.

Editorial work

This Labor Relations column was the most popular column in the history of the magazine. It was reprinted 4 times and received 1,200 inquiries for more information. The "Maximizing your MRO purchasing dollar" was nominated for an ASBPE award. 

Social media

I launched a social media program for Harriet Carter. We started it in October 2021, near Halloween, and our customer LOVES holidays. So I filmed some fun reels for Instagram. We also showed them on Facebook and our audience grew quickly.

The first video directed the customer to where she could buy Grandma's Promise on our site.

The second video had copy across the top that said, "Halloween is coming for you!" 
I put copy across the top of the third video that said, "Did someone say CANDY???"
